Well it was an interesting stop to the trip...

We should be deciding shortly if we are going back to Richmond or continuing to Cleveland when Holly wakes up...

HERE IS HOW THE NIGHT ENDED:
So we arrived in Somerset PA around 1am (this is the halfway point) and got checked into the Hampton Inn with no glitches. When Holly was getting Jacob ready for bed she mentioned that Jacob got really hot under the blanket during the car ride.
The normal routine took place Holly nursed Jacob and then he laid on daddy to sleep. He was asleep for a couple of hours and I noticed he was still really warm. During his diaper change we took his temperature and it quickly spiked to 102! Yikes Jacob has a fever and not only are we 4hrs from home but it is 4am.
After we talked for a few minutes mommy went to wake Oma (who had not gone to sleep yet) and let her know the situation. Mommy gave Jacob some tylenol and called the pediatricians office to talk to the nurse on call. After explaining the story to the nurse she said just to keep a close eye on him and give him Tylenol every 4hrs because he probably has a virus.
It is now 8:25am Mommy and Jacob are in bed together sleeping. We will have to make a decision once she awakes do we venture further from home and continue with our trip or do we turn the train around and head back home...
