The trip back to Richmond was interesting...

So we left Somerset, PA around noon to head back to Richmond and get Jacob healthy but getting home really tested the patience of ALL of the Saunders Family. The route home has two options you can take I-81 to US-17 through Winchester or go interstate the whole way but have to go through DC/NOVA to get home. We chose poorly because it took us 8hrs to get home when it should have taken us 5hrs.

Jacob had a rough night with a fever hovering around 101 the whole night and make it very difficult for him to sleep. Jacob is normally a very smiley kid but this night there were more blank stares then smiles.

Today we have been taking naps periodically through the day and Jacob is bringing mommy and daddy more smiles. He is back to talking and the glassy eyes that he had throughout the night are starting to get better. Although he still has a fever over 100 we are optimistic that he is getting better.

The boy is holding his hands up for his daddy so I have to run and get the boy. I will update later!!!
