Today I found out exactly what that recurring jab/moving lump is on the right side of my growing abdomen. It's the cutest little foot with the cutest little 5 toes I have ever seen. I had my ultrasound today to check out if the Baby GPS was on track or if we were going to have to resort to other measures to get him turned....Here is what we found out!
*His little head is due south! Jeff says he saw the screen that measured it at 9 centimeters....hopefully that thing doesn't grow any bigger. mommy is scared already.
*His little face is pointed towards the tail bone, just like it should be. Good Boy.
*Because of his position, we couldn't see his face but we could see his body language. He had both arms up in front of his face, with his hands on his head as if to say.."Seriously people. It's bright, I'm tired, and now I'm disturbed. And I have the worst headache so could you all stop your talking"
*He is measuring average in every category, but Jeff and I agree that he is anything but average
*While a date of Dec. 26th was thrown around a while ago, he is measuring an exact due date of Jan 1. Putting me at exactly 36 weeks tomorrow.
*Jacob William currently weights 5lb, 12oz. and will gain approximately 1/2 lb. each week moving forward. I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a December baby though, so Jacob and I are going to keep having pep talks to make that happen.
*Not sure if I'm dilating, the 9 centimeter noggin was in the way during that part of the exam. I guess that means he's pretty low, or perhaps strategically placed to keep us all guessing for another week.
*Next week, I will hit week 37 and be officially full term. My paperwork will be sent over to Labor and Delivery.
*I need to pack!

I'm praying that he comes early so that you and Jeff get a nice 2008 tax exempt. Come on JACOB!
