As for me, my latest appointment on Wednesday yielded the update that Jacob is still moving around a bit; to the extent that he was hanging out sideways in the ole' uterus. They typically say that by week 36, the babies need to turn or else they run out of space and could get stuck in the wrong presentation. I am entering week 36 so I think we still have some time for flippage. I just heard a story last night about a family friend giving birth a month ago where the baby flipped 3 times during actual labor so there is certainly hope that lil' Jacob can link in to his baby GPS and find his way into the birth canal.
The doctors' appointments will start coming weekly now, so next Wednesday I am scheduled for an Ultrasound (more pics!) to check presentation, size, and amniotic fluid levels. In the meantime, I still feel good with some stereotypical back discomfort and increased difficulty putting my socks on. The nursery is nearly complete as we are just waiting on the glider to come in and I am nesting of course; having cleaned out articles that have accumulated from under the two sinks upstairs. Yes it was necessary. I haven't packed a bag yet or finalized my birth plan but I am attempting to prepare myself for our new life with a baby. It is still nearly impossible to imagine.
