MAMA!!!!!!! That is the word of the day because after close to 10 months of repetition, my son now knows my name. He hasn't quite gotten the "y" sound at the end yet, but I am not complaining. He used to mutter "maaaamaaaaa" when he was upset, or slightly injured and he did that once yesterday evening when he was blocked from the kitchen and wanted desperately to get through and see what I was doing. It was when we were getting ready for bed that he said excitedly..."Ma Ma!" Typically, clothes changing does not go over too well around here as it's quite a battle; however it was an endearing moment for me to truly hear my name for the first time from those cute little lips.
