The Boy has turned 9 months old...

It is hard to believe how fast the months have gone, which is what other parents always tell you. Currently Jacob and I are trying to fight off colds. Jacob started with a low grade fever on Sunday and now has a runny nose that he is trying to get over.

***JACOB UPDATE***
-he is full speed ahead with the crawling.
-he pulls up on everything and is able to walk around objects as long as he holds on.
-every now and again he will pull off and stand by himself without holding on.
-he is doing alot of talking but nothing that makes a whole lot of sense but he is talking.
-he recognizes his name and will actually look at you when you call for him.
-he is mobile and getting into everything - just put some gates up in the house to try and slow him down.
-he is able to go up the steps (on his 2nd try he was able to crawl up the stairs all the way to the 2nd floor) YIKES, another reason for the gates.
-he will give daddy "high fives"
-he is starting to clap.
-he loves to dance and bang like he is drumming.

I am very blessed to have such a chill and happy little boy! He still does not sleep in his bed throughout the night --- yes he is nine months and still gets up multiple times a night because he likes to eat. Maybe his mommy will write an article on the sleeping experiences because she is the one that has been without sleep for the last nine months.
It is really starting to become fun taking him with me when I have errands to run because he is such a good travel partner. He either sits in the shopping cart and just looks at everything or in his big boy stroller.
This coming Friday he has a doctors appointment for his 9 month check up, I will post after the visit if not before then.
Because there are so many pictures I have decided just to put some links to pictures instead of posting just a couple so you can see how big the boy is getting.
