HOLLY'S PREGNANT
It is truly surreal, but as Holly's belly grows it is becoming more of reality. We are both just overjoyed and can't wait for the day that we become parents. She is in her 15th week and doing amazing. She is now wearing maternity clothes (pictures will soon be posted). To back track a little bit for anyone who has not heard the story of how she found out, I have to tell it because it is quite humorous.
So on April 22, 2008 Holly went to Patient First with an upper respiratory infection. She had been coughing a lot and thought that she had potentially broken a rib or pulled a chest muscle from coughing. So while there the doctor decided to run a couple of test (mono, strep, pneumonia, etc.). Also, in order to have an x-ray done they had to run a pregnancy test. So the doctor was gone for a while and when she came back she ran down the list. "You do not have mono, you do not have strep, you do not have pneumonia ----- BUT you are pregnant". Now this doctor did not break beat when telling Holly this news and continued to talk to Holly about her upper respiratory infection and the antibiotics that she would need. However, Holly doesn't really remember anything after "YOU ARE PREGNANT".
