A little bit of family time...

With everyone's lives so busy and crazy we don't get to have too many of these moments as a family just hanging out in Jacob's room... Below are some pictures of the event. The first three pictures are of mommy getting kisses. We like to ask Jacob to "give us kisses".

Mommy reading to Jacob... Just like his daddy, he loves for people to read to him! Mommy has really been working with Jacob on identifying animals and what sounds each one makes. He is good with dog and can tell you that the dog says "ruff". He knows kitty cat and that it is "meow". His favorite is cow, he doesn't moo but he belly laughs when mommy makes the cow sound.

Poor Jacob gets abused with all the kisses that mommy (above) and daddy give him throughout the day. But man are those cheeks so kissable and he is such a sweet boy he just takes it. The picture below is Jacob just looking into the camera and saying, without words, "what are you to do it is just best to let them do it"!
This last group of pictures are of Jacob rocking in his chair for the first time by himself (thanks Auntie Kara) and posing for the camera. The first pictures is Jacob actually laughing at mommy for making the moo sound.

Parenthood is the best and we will attempt to keep pictures and updates more frequently then we have in the recent past.

Jacob is doing very well with his nanny. This is their third week together and she is really doing alot of things with him and stimulating his brain throughout the day with a variety of activities.

Holly is working really hard to build her business back after a big hit last year. It has been a slow and frustrating time but there is no doubt that in the near future she will be right back on top where she wants to be. She has also lost all of her baby weight and is starting to get into those skinny people clothes again. Of course I can't say much for myself, I am still in my fifth trimester.

As most of you know I started my own company at the beginning of the year and things are really starting to move. It will probably be a while for a we actually start making money (sorry Holly) but I know in the long run it is the best thing for me and my family. One of my personal goals for the New Year is to lose 25lbs and started towards that last week as I joined the gym and started to work-out again. It is going to be an uphill battle but man, I can't stand to be fat anymore.

So there are a few pictures of our little man and a little bit about what is going on in the Saunders household. We will attempt to be more active on the site moving forward. Thanks for listening. Good Night!
