As seen in the previous post, we made it through the day in the monkey outfit...that's a good day. No pee or poo ended up on those cute, teeny britches. The camera was still nearby in the evening when dad arrived home, so I had the chance to snap some more adorable shots I just had to post. Jacob and mom spend so much time during the day running errands, sleeping, changing diapers, and let's not forget eating every 2 hours On the Nose, that rarely have we had time to play during the day. Sure, we have our moments where mom tries to elicit smiles as this is the newest and coolest trick; however dads just seem to have a way of making playtime so much more fun. For instance, they make their boys play air instruments with their hands (Larry with Liam as seen on Son Sand and Sole) and/or make them talk in crazy voices like Uncle Will used to do when his boys were this age. (Happy Birthday Will!!) ....so Jeff gladly takes over those duties when he gets home. Usually Jacob has a full belly, wakes up and is super alert sometime between 6pm and 8pm and is ready to learn...until the next meal.
This toy is awesome, but it's staring at me.
Totally intrigued

Seriously? Dad gets bored and this is how he entertains himself? Mom. you should be helping, not taking pictures.

Priceless. 7 weeks old today! I love these guys.

You know Boys will be Boys... We were put on this earth to drive women crazy! I got nothing but love for ya (you are the queen of my double-wide and now I have a prince to my throne(I googled to make sure of spelling --- I am not really that smart to know the difference between "thrown" & "throne") --- does life get any better???)
These last few posts have been awesome. When you see that Jacob recognizes you and gets excited, when he smiles and kicks when you come near ... there is no feeling like it!
I love Jacob's cute cheeks, accented by the fluffy spider. I want big hugs from the boy!
