Barbie or Ken? (Guest Blogger - Brother Will)

The night was young but the day was long for two proud parents of what could only be referred to today pre 6:53pm as a hemaphrodite baby whose gender was uncertain. Jeff and Holly invited family and friends over to enjoy a profound moment of revealing whether they were having a boy or a girl.

Holly's ultrasound appointment was early this morning so all day she had to carry around an envelope enclosed with the answer she and Jeff had waited 5 months to hear. What does this all mean? Well, from a parenting perspective it means whether in 14 years they will be looking forward to bailing their son out of jail for peeping on the hottie neighbor or going into certain debt from their daughters cell phone monthly charges.

So what are they having you may ask? Well, as family friends chose sides as politicians choose parties, two groups stood on opposite sides of the room representing pink and blue. Holly and Jeff stood in the middle their adrenoline and blood pressure rising simultaneously. So without further ado and in the words of Drew Carey -

As a proud Uncle I can only say Congratulations to my little sister! Just don't name him Rawlings...
